Reading Tim Rutherford-Johnson’s list of his favorite albums of 2025, which overlaps with my own at several points, I realized that I had overlooked Ash Fure’s noise-drenched, superbly engulfing album Animal. The record has been adjusted. There is, it goes without saying, much else of high value on Tim’s list. I’m looking forward to his next book, provisionally titled Schubert Dub.
